The 60's protests likely prompted the Reagan-anti-the-commons revolution.

gdn: Puzzeling--as to the '60s protests--Reagan's, GOP's, Ch of Commerce's and ALEX's stealth-changing of the financial rules didn't even start until the 70s. Or, just maybe, it was the 60s protests that provided the impetus for this stealth-changing of the financial rules starting in the 70s till the present.
